BLUE THE SIGN is the name of the band that I keep hearing in my head. I’ve been playing guitar, singing and recording my own songs since I was kid in the late seventies and bringing music out of my head and into recordings is one of my favorite things. I recorded the songs that make up the album Red Light Green Light over the course of 2025 and spent the last few months working on the mix and mastering for release on May 5, 2026.
During the course of recording, the United States government saw massive changes in government and society. My partner’s father died just before the new year and two month’s later, her mom went into hospice. Not long after that, my mom, struggling with cancer, entered hospice and died about a month later. It was a rough time and this music provided a refuge for me and my hope is that it can also be enjoyed by others.
RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT tracks will be released starting in May of 2026, according to the release schedule. A CD will be available for purchase in May.
